HR PRACTICES -LEADERSHIP. India had many inspiring leaders, political corporate etc.The norms normally applicable in western countries or Japan do not work in India.Indian psyche is such that a leader is generally blindly flocked around either because of his charisma or achievements. Once he disappears from the scene, vacuum of leadership results. This has been amply experienced in all spheres. During the Panipat battle on 14 January 1761,the unfortunate and accidental hit of a misguided spear killed vishwas peshwa that resulted in the scattering of his army WHICH WAS ON THE VERGE OF DEFINITE VICTORY and lead to the unfortunate death of their visionary general Sadashiv bhau. To develop leadership qualities among Indians, we require indigenous practices than aping western or Japanese ideas.
